Stuart Smith (actor)

Stuart Onslow Smith (better known as Stuart Smith and sometimes credited as Stuart Steen or Stuart Smita), is an Anglo-Australian actor born in Winchester, Hampshire. He grew up in Sydney, New South Wales.

After studying acting and playing a few parts in Australia, he moved to Hong Kong and starred in several films in the 1980s, including "ninja" flicks by Godfrey Ho. He also worked extensively as a voice actor, dubbing Chinese films into English.

He is particularly popular among bad film fans due to his overacting that makes him twist his face in grimaces.

He is now a financial counsellor in Thailand.

Famous quotes containing the words stuart and/or smith:

Calling it your job don’t make it right, boss.
Donn Pierce, U.S. screenwriter, Frank R. Pierson, and Stuart Rosenberg. Luke Jackson (Paul Newman)

For men tied fast to the absolute, bled of their differences, drained of their dreams by authoritarian leeches until nothing but pulp is left, become a massive, sick Thing whose sheer weight is used ruthlessly by ambitious men. Here is the real enemy of the people: our own selves dehumanized into “the masses.” And where is the David who can slay this giant?
    —Lillian Smith (1897–1966)
