Star Wars Infinities: Return of the Jedi is a 2004 three-part story arc in the Star Wars Infinities series of comic books. It is an alternate telling of the 1983 film Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi in which C-3PO breaks during Leia's bounty for Chewbacca, causing there to be no translator between her and Jabba the Hutt. The comic is not a direct sequel to the previous Infinities stories, but rather a sequel to the events after the actual film versions of A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back.

Famous quotes containing the words star, wars, return and/or jedi:

Our star was brighter perhaps when it had water in it.
Now there is no question even of that, but only
Of holding on to the hard earth so as not to get thrown off,
With an occasional dream, a vision ...
    John Ashbery (b. 1927)

Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the U.S. was too strong.
    Ronald Reagan (b. 1911)

To save the theatre, the theatre must be destroyed, the actors and actresses must all die of the plague. They poison the air, they make art impossible. It is not drama that they play, but pieces for the theatre. We should return to the Greeks, play in the open air: the drama dies of stalls and boxes and evening dress, and people who come to digest their dinner.
    Eleonora Duse (1858–1924)

Only a fully trained Jedi knight with the Force as his ally will conquer Vader and his emperor. If you end your training now—if you choose the quick and easy path, as Vader did—you will become an agent of evil.
    Leigh Brackett (1915–1978)
