Mission and Vision

SCC’s mission is to lead and facilitate the development and use of national and international standards and accreditation services in order to enhance Canada's competitiveness and well-being. The organization's vision is to improve Canadians’ quality of life through leadership of the national standardization network. SCC's work falls into three principal areas—Standards, Accreditation Services, and Policy and Stakeholder Relations.
