The Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering departments have been recognized by Anna University as collaborative research centers for PhD degrees. R&D is aided by a technology innovation Center, which also houses SPIC's research center.
