Fender Pawn Shop Super-Sonic
In 2013 Fender reintroduced the Super-Sonic as a part of their Pawn Shop series. This guitar features two canted Fender Atomic humbucking pickups as opposed to the canted Duncan Designed bridge pickup of the original Squier models. Other features include a solid alder body, a "C"-shaped maple neck with "bullet"-style truss rod, 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, three-way toggle pickup switching and dual Jazz Bass control knobs, three-ply parchment pickguard, vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuners and a new Super-Sonic four-bolt neck plate. Available in Apple Red Flake, Dark Gun Metal Flake and Sunfire Orange Flake finishes.
