Spyro himself makes a brief appearance in Crash Twinsanity. Spyro also appeared in the advertisement for Ty the Tasmanian Tiger in a hospital bed along with Crash Bandicoot and Sonic. Krome Studios developed the first two installments of The Legend of Spyro trilogy. Spyro also appeared in the Game Boy Advance release of "Crash Fusion" (or "Crash Purple: Ripto's Rampage" as it was known in the US.) where he was playable when the game was linked to its Spyro counterpart, "Spyro Fusion". (Or "Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy" as it was known in the US.) This too was on the Game Boy Advance.
