The fans are known as Torcida Verde Santiago. A Torcida Verde is a cheerleader supporter of Sporting Clube da Praia.The name is identical to its fathering club, the Portuguese giants Sporting Clube de Portugal.
Their mottos are: O Nosso Amor, Não Conhece Distâncias-Our Love, Do not Know Distances. Their biggest rivals are fans of CS Mindelense called Laranja Exército and Académica (Mindelo) fans called Mancha Negra.
