Badminton
Badminton is also a popular sport in Bangladesh and is played mostly in the winter season throughout the country. The Bangladesh Badminton Federation (BBF), formed in 1972, is responsible for managing and developing the sport. Badminton was long neglected in Bangladesh but recently the federation got some responsible officials and also managed to acquire sponsors for the sport. BBF now regularly holds many national and international championships and also organizes some talent hunt programs across the country
