Space Fever (スペースフィーバー?) is a 1979 arcade game by Nintendo R&D1. Some sources claim that Ikegami Tsushinki also did design work on Space Fever. It was released in both monochrome and color versions. The gameplay is similar to Space Invaders, which was released by Taito in 1978. The game was distributed by Far East Video.
Famous quotes containing the words space and/or fever:
“... the movie womans world is designed to remind us that a woman may live in a mansion, an apartment, or a yurt, but its all the same thing because what she really lives in is the body of a woman, and that body is allowed to occupy space only according to the dictates of polite society.”
—Jeanine Basinger (b. 1936)
“When I was very young and the urge to be someplace was on me, I was assured by mature people that maturity would cure this itch. When years described me as mature, the remedy prescribed was middle age. In middle age I was assured that greater age would calm my fever and now that I am fifty-eight perhaps senility will do the job. Nothing has worked.... In other words, I dont improve, in further words, once a bum always a bum. I fear the disease is incurable.”
—John Steinbeck (19021968)
