Sonoma Academy

Founded in 2001, Sonoma Academy is a private coed four-year college preparatory high school located in the hills east of Santa Rosa, California. As of the 2012-13 school year, 250 students are enrolled, and the annual tuition cost is $34,900. Sonoma Academy's school colors are blue and green, with the coyote as the mascot.

Twelve parents were the original founders of the school: Lisa French, Barbara Banke, Beverly Zeigler, Rosalind Manoogian, Greg French, Susan Wynne, Carol Farrow, Katherine Angell, Michael Draxton, Dorothy Tang, Kirt Zeigler and Nancy Lasseter.
