Large Charitable hospitals in the city include J.K. Hindu Charitable Hospital (Management control taken over by Cygnus Medicare private Limited in 2012), Janki Das Hospital, Janta Hospital. With the management takeover of Hindu Charitable hospital by Cygnus Medicare, Cygnus J.K. Hindu Hospital is expected to be the most modern hospital of the district with all superspeciality facilities under one roof.
