Although Sonic has operated since the early 1950s, Sonic Corp. was incorporated in the State of Delaware in 1990. It has its corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Its stock trades on NASDAQ with the symbol SONC. Company restaurants are owned and operated by Sonic Restaurants, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary. Total 2011 revenues were approximately $546 million with net income of $19 million.
