CGD Certification
Professional members of the GDC are nationally certified with standards officers following the same measurement tools and criteria for reviewing applicants’ case studies. CGD certification also requires a minimum of 7 years of work experience and/or post-secondary design education. All GDC members are required to abide by a strict Code of Ethics and also respect the GDC’s Sustainable Design Principles. A designer with CGD certification is recognized across Canada as a highly qualified professional with an excellent standard of work and ethical business conduct.
