Singeetam Srinivasa Rao (Telugu: సింగీతం శ్రీనివాసరావు, born 21 September 1931) is an Indian film director, Known for his works in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi films. He made his directorial debut with the Telugu Film Nīti Nijāyiti in 1972.
He has garnered two National Film Awards and three Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards. He directed films along multiple genre's including cross over cinema (America Ammayi, America Abbayi), comedy (Michael Madhana Kamarajan- Tamil), fantasy (Aditya 369), folklore (Bhairava Dweepam) etc. He co-produced and directed the first Indian black comedy, silent film Pushpak stands out as one of the best experimental films of Indian cinema.
