Fly-In
The Simsbury Fly-In is held on the third Sunday each September. The event, which as many as 10,000 people, 150 airplanes, and over 400 classic autos have attended in the past, also showcases parachute jumpers, a simulated rescue by a LifeStar helicopter, and has vendors and manufacturers displaying their products.
The 2012 Simsbury Fly-In & Car Show will be held on Sunday September 23. (Rain Date: Sunday, September 30) Expected attractions will include over 600 aircraft and classic autos, a C5-A flyover, the LifeStar helicopter, a formation flying demo, a powered parachute demo, and many vendors and manufacturers displaying their products.
