Shweta's first film as actor to be released in February 2013 and is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and titled David featuring Chiyaan Vikram, Jeeva, Tabu, Neil Mukesh, Vinay Virmani, Nasser, Isha Sharvani, Sheetal Menon, Lara Dutta and many more leading star actors. Shweta will be seen acting as the role of a young daughter of a Priest in Mumbai alongside Jeeva (Tamil version), Virmani (Hindi version) and Sheetal Menon playing her siblings in the story based in 1999. The film is produced by Reliance, Getaway Films and Rampage Productions and will be released in 3 languages and Shweta will be acting in both the versions.
