Shontayne Hape (/ˈhɑrːpeɪ/; born 30 January 1981) is a New Zealand-born rugby footballer, a dual-code rugby international. He plays rugby union at centre for Montpellier Hérault Rugby and England. He has also previously played rugby league for the Bradford Bulls in Super League and New Zealand Warriors in the National Rugby League. Hape has also represented New Zealand at international level rugby league by being selected for both the junior and senior squads including the 2006 Gillette Tri-Nations New Zealand squad. His usual position is centre.
