Silver Bean Coffee
While recovering from her 2007 knee injury, Bahrke and her fiancée Matt Happe founded a coffee roasting company in Salt Lake City called Silver Bean Coffee. She offers a complete line of hand roasted earth friendly coffee. In addition to ski-themed coffee blends such as Last Chair Decaf, Powder Blend, and the Experts Only Blend, the company also sells coffees to support US ski team members and their charities. Over 20 US skiers including 2006 Olympic giant slalom gold medalist Julia Mancuso and 2009 Nordic combined world champion Bill Demong have their own coffees, and a portion of the proceeds goes to the athlete and their charity of choice. Silver Bean also sells Best Friend Blends; for every bag of these coffees, five dollars go to Bahrke's charity of choice, the Best Friends Animal Society.

Famous quotes containing the words silver and/or coffee:
“Maman, said Annaïse, her voice strangely weak. Here is the water.
A thin blade of silver came forward in the plain and the peasants ran alongside it, crying and singing.
...
Oh, Manuel, Manuel, why are you dead? moaned Délira.
No, said Annaïse, and she smiled through her tears, no, he is not dead.
She took the old womans hand and pressed gently against her belly where new life stirred.”
—Jacques Roumain (19071945)
“There has come into existence, chiefly in America, a breed of men who claim to be feminists. They imagine that they have understood what women want and that they are capable of giving it to them. They help with the dishes at home and make their own coffee in the office, basking the while in the refulgent consciousness of virtue.... Such men are apt to think of the true male feminists as utterly chauvinistic.”
—Germaine Greer (b. 1939)
