The Serbia and Montenegro team was only three members large, but boasted five Olympic medals, four from pistol shooter Jasna Šekarić. Sekaric came just one shot short of qualifying for the 25 metre event, but was more successful in the 10 metre Air Pistol event, in which she was 1988 Olympic champion and a silver medalist in Barcelona and Sydney. She trailed a Ukrainian opponent by 0.8 points going into the last two shots, but made up enough ground to force a tie and a shoot-off. However, she was second-best in that shoot-off, and ended up with her fourth Olympic silver medal.

    • Final: 96.3 points (Total: 483.3, Shootoff: 9.4) (Silver Medal)
