Remnants
Although much of the track was subsequently dismantled, it is believed that the dismantling process was not completed due to an unknown reason, as a section of track near the Underwater World attraction was spotted heading into the adjacent forest, the track was left to the hands of nature, with vines and leaves taking over the remaining structure. On closer inspection, one would also noticed the spots where the electric guide-rail was once installed.

Famous quotes containing the word remnants:
“In one notable instance, where the United States Army and a hundred years of persuasion failed, a highway has succeeded. The Seminole Indians surrendered to the Tamiami Trail. From the Everglades the remnants of this race emerged, soon after the trail was built, to set up their palm-thatched villages along the road and to hoist tribal flags as a lure to passing motorists.”
—For the State of Florida, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
