Seattle Post-Intelligencer

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer (popularly known as the Seattle P-I, the Post-Intelligencer, or simply the P-I) is an online newspaper and former print newspaper covering Seattle, Washington, United States, and the surrounding metropolitan area.

The newspaper was founded in 1863 as the weekly Seattle Gazette, and was later published daily in broadsheet format. It was long one of the city's two daily newspapers, along with the The Seattle Times, until it became an online-only publication on March 18, 2009.
