Séamus Prendergast (born 1 January 1980) is an Irish hurler who plays as a full-forward for the Waterford senior team.
Prendergast joined the team during the 2001 National League and immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen. Since then he has won four Munster winners' medals and one National Hurling League winners' medal. Prendergast has ended up as an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion.
At club level Prendergast is a dual player with Ardmore.
Prendergast is one of only six Waterford players to have won four Munster medals on the field of play. His brother, Declan Prendergast, also plays inter-county hurling with Waterford.
