Scratch and Sniff Car Crash

Scratch and Sniff Car Crash is the third album by the Swamp Zombies and was released in 1990 under the Doctor Dream Records label. It is available on record, tape, or CD. The first 1,000 LPs and the first 500 CDs actually had a "car crash" scratch and sniff sticker in which the odor of a mixture of gasoline and burnning rubber was released upon scratching. The album title's origin lies in the fact that two Swamp Zombies band members were involved in separate car crashes at around the same time.

Famous quotes containing the words scratch, sniff, car and/or crash:

Man has lost the basic skill of the ape, the ability to scratch its back. Which gave it extraordinary independence, and the liberty to associate for reasons other than the need for mutual back-scratching.
    Jean Baudrillard (b. 1929)

You must be wise, in order to sniff out and weigh these mighty books, and swift in the hunt and brave in the battle; then, by careful reading and frequent reflection, crack open the bone and suck out the substantific marrow.
    François Rabelais (1494–1553)

The reason American cars don’t sell anymore is that they have forgotten how to design the American Dream. What does it matter if you buy a car today or six months from now, because cars are not beautiful. That’s why the American auto industry is in trouble: no design, no desire.
    Karl Lagerfeld (b. 1938)

Crash on crash of the sea,
straining to wreck men, sea-boards, continents,
    raging against the world, furious.
    Hilda Doolittle (1886–1961)
