Scott Speicher
Michael Scott Speicher (July 12, 1957– January 17, 1991) was a United States Navy pilot who was shot down over Iraq during the Gulf War. He was the first American combat casualty of the conflict. His remains were not recovered until August 2, 2009. His fate had not been known until then.
