Unproduced Sequel
During the filming of Scooby-Doo 2, Warner Bros. gave the green light for production of a sequel. Writers Dan Forman and Paul Foley were hired by WB to write the script for Scooby-Doo 3. However, after the released of Scooby-Doo 2, Warner Bros. felt the film should have made more money, which prevented the production of a possible sequel.
