Famous quotes containing the words scion and/or ride:
“We marry
A gentler scion to the wildest stock,
And make conceive a bark of baser kind
By bud of nobler race. This is an art
Which does mend nature—change it rather; but
The art itself is nature.”
—William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
“And no one knows what’s yet to come.
For Patrick Pearse had said
That in every generation
Must Ireland’s blood be shed.
From mountain to mountain ride the fierce horsemen.”
—William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
