The School Library Collection

These items are not only for the education, enjoyment, and entertainment of the all members of the school community, but also to enhance and expand the school's curriculum.

Famous quotes containing the words school, library and/or collection:

Love goes toward love as schoolboys from their books,
But love from love, toward school with heavy looks.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

Our civilization has decided ... that determining the guilt or innocence of men is a thing too important to be trusted to trained men.... When it wants a library catalogued, or the solar system discovered, or any trifle of that kind, it uses up its specialists. But when it wishes anything done which is really serious, it collects twelve of the ordinary men standing round. The same thing was done, if I remember right, by the Founder of Christianity.
    Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874–1936)

Our society is not a community, but merely a collection of isolated family units.
    Valerie Solanas (b. 1940)
