SAS Institute - User Community

User Community

The SAS community includes users groups on the local, regional, and international levels, and within customer organizations. The structure of each group varies by country, region and group. Typically users groups are led by volunteer boards and committees of SAS users. SAS Institute often supports users-group events by inviting local users, providing logistics support, contributing speakers or sharing expenses.

Famous quotes containing the words user and/or community:

A worker may be the hammer’s master, but the hammer still prevails. A tool knows exactly how it is meant to be handled, while the user of the tool can only have an approximate idea.
    Milan Kundera (b. 1929)

The people needed to be rehoused, but I feel disgusted and depressed when I see how they have done it. It did not suit the planners to think how they might deal with the community, or the individuals that made up the community. All they could think was, “Sweep it away!” The bureaucrats put their heads together, and if anyone had told them, “A community is people,” they would not have known what they were on about.
    May Hobbs (b. 1938)
