The Sarajevo Canton, officially the Canton of Sarajevo (Bosnian: Kanton Sarajevo) is the ninth of 10 cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its cantonal capital is Sarajevo, also the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Canton can basically be considered the metro area of the country's capital city, Sarajevo. It contains 98% of the city's population, but a much smaller percentage of the official land area. The majority of the population is Bosniak.
