Sara Rue (born January 26, 1979) is an American television actress. She is best known for her performances as Carmen Ferrara on Popular, and as Claude Casey on Less than Perfect. She is a spokesperson for Jenny Craig. In 2011, she hosted The CW reality series Shedding for the Wedding. She has a recurring role in the comedy Rules of Engagement, where she plays Brenda, the softball co-player and bestfriend of Jeff. She is performing the role of Kim on the sitcom Malibu Country.
