Personal Life
Carelli is a longtime wrestling fan. His father took him to several wrestling shows as a child.He is a Roman Catholic.
He was born in Mississauga, Ontario, to a family of Italian descent, and attended Elizabeth Simcoe Public School, and later Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School. He trained judo at the age of nine and wrestled in high school, winning a Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA) tournament. He was originally trained by journeyman wrestler Don Kolov in Woodbridge, Ontario. He has a daughter, Bianca, who won the Miss Teen Ontario World Pageant in 2013.
