Samgha in Mahayana Buddhism

In Mahayana Buddhism, the Samgha includes laymen (Upasaka), laywomen (Upasika) as well as monks (Bhikshu) and nuns (Bhikshuni). In the Lotus Sutra the 'Bodhisattvas of the Earth' include laity.
