Saint Dane - References To Satan

References To Satan

  • Saint Dane's role is comparable to that of the serpent in the Garden of Eden, in that he uses people's weaknesses to confuse them into destroying themselves. It is mentioned in the series that he gave himself this name as a sort of joke, though what this means is never explicitly specified. His name, though, is remarkably similar to "Satan" which can also be derived from the letters in "Saint Dane."
  • The mark of Rivinia, the cult he formed on all territories, has the symbol of a star, which is described to be very similar to a pentagram.
