Game Summary
The Sailor Moon Collectible Card Game pits teams of Sailor Senshi (referred to as "Scouts") against opposing monsters and villains. Each player has both one or more Scouts, and a collection of enemies. Victory is achieved by either eliminating all of an opponent's scouts, or by defeating a certain number of victory points (VP) worth of monsters and villains.
At some points in the game, elements of random chance are introduced by requiring the players to play a game of jan ken pon in order to determine the outcome.

Famous quotes containing the words game and/or summary:
“The family environment in which your children are growing up is different from that in which you grew up. The decisions our parents made and the strategies they used were developed in a different context from what we face today, even if the content of the problem is the same. It is a mistake to think that our own experience as children and adolescents will give us all we need to help our children. The rules of the game have changed.”
—Lawrence Kutner (20th century)
“I have simplified my politics into an utter detestation of all existing governments; and, as it is the shortest and most agreeable and summary feeling imaginable, the first moment of an universal republic would convert me into an advocate for single and uncontradicted despotism. The fact is, riches are power, and poverty is slavery all over the earth, and one sort of establishment is no better, nor worse, for a people than another.”
—George Gordon Noel Byron (17881824)
