Major Intersections
Safety Bay Road heads south from Peron past Lake Richmond. The main intersection in this part is Rae Road which goes to Rockingham's central business district. It ends at Arcadia Drive which is a coastal road in Shoalwater. Safety Bay Road takes a left turn then intersects with:

- Read Street/Warnbro Sound Avenue:
- North to Waikiki, Cooloongup and Rockingham
- South to Warnbro, Port Kennedy and Secret Harbour
- Ennis Avenue :
- North to Rockingham
- South to Mandurah
- Mandurah Road
- Baldivis Road
- Kwinana Freeway
The road then continues as Folly Road.
