S26 (ZVV) - Rolling Stock

Rolling Stock

Initially, the usual motive power used on this route was the RBDe 560, with occasional RBe 540 supplements. Einheitswagen ("standard coaches") I or II as well as a BDt or Bt control car made up the rest of the consist, all of which were generally in the NPZ (blue over white) livery.

However, this mix of rolling stock has now been widely replaced by the Stadler GTW provided by THURBO.

Famous quotes containing the words rolling and/or stock:

The gods had condemned Sisyphus to ceaselessly rolling a rock to the top of a mountain, whence the stone would fall back of its own weight. They had thought with some reason that there is no more dreadful punishment than futile and hopeless labor.
    Albert Camus (1913–1960)

I’d rather I were dead and gone,
And my body laid in grave,
    Ere a rusty stock o coal-black smith
    My maidenhead should have.
Unknown. The Twa Magicians (l. 17–20)
