Russian Cruiser Varyag (1899)

Varyag (also spelled Variag; see Varangian for the meaning of the name) (Russian: кре́йсер «Варя́г») was a Russian protected cruiser. Varyag became famous for its crew stoicism at the Battle of Chemulpo Bay.
