Different Kind of RTGs
- The first electrified rubber-tyred gantry cranes (ERTG) in the United States was unveiled by The Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) in December 2012. The new technology reduces fuel consumption by an estimated 95 percent. The new ERTG system was developed with the help of Konecranes, Conductix-Wampfler and Georgia Power.
