Famous quotes containing the words royal, air and/or force:
“Bohemia is nothing more than the little country in which you do not live. If you try to obtain citizenship in it, at once the court and retinue pack the royal archives and treasure and move away beyond the hills.”
—O. Henry [William Sydney Porter] (18621910)
“The curfew tolls the knell of parting day,
The lowing herd wind slowly oer the lea,
The ploughman homeward plods his weary way,
And leaves the world to darkness and to me.
Now fades the glimmering landscape on the sight,
And all the air a solemn stillness holds,
Save where the beetle wheels his droning flight,
And drowsy tinklings lull the distant folds.”
—Thomas Gray (17161771)
“Strange how such innocence gets its own way.
I shouldnt be surprised if in this world
It were the force that would at last prevail.”
—Robert Frost (18741963)
