Death and Legacy
Roy Del Ruth died on April 27, 1961 at 67 years old from a heart attack and was interred in the San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills, Los Angeles, California.
For his contributions to the motion picture industry, he was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6150 Hollywood Blvd.
