Famous quotes containing the words rough and/or trade:

The even mead, that erst brought sweetly forth
The freckled cowslip, burnet, and green clover,
Wanting the scythe, all uncorrected, rank.
Conceives by idleness, and nothing teems
But hateful docks, rough thistles, kecksies, burrs,
    Losing both beauty and utility.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

The last job I had, I had to take it out in trade and this is no butcher shop—not yet, anyhow!
