Rose's lime juice, often known simply as Rose's, is a line of juice products first patented in 1867. The range includes both the original concentrated squash or cordial and also diluted drink mixers. The company is now owned by the Dr Pepper Snapple Group, part of its Mott's division.
Famous quotes containing the words rose, lime and/or juice:
“What we call spring here is one rose and two buds that just grew in the cloister garden. That is enough to move the men of my country. But their heart resembles that miserly rose. A more powerful breath would wilt them, they have the spring that they deserve.”
—Albert Camus (19131960)
“In our large cities, the population is godless, materialized,no bond, no fellow-feeling, no enthusiasm. These are not men, but hungers, thirsts, fevers, and appetites walking. How is it people manage to live on,so aimless as they are? After their peppercorn aims are gained, it seems as if the lime in their bones alone held them together, and not any worthy purpose.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“Seas of bright juice suffuse heaven.
The earth by the sky staid with, the daily close of their junction,
The heavd challenge from the east that moment over my head,
The mocking taunt, See then whether you shall be master!”
—Walt Whitman (18191892)
