The Diocese of Imus (Latin:Dioecesis Imusensis) comprises the whole province of Cavite. The diocese was established and canonically erected as a separate diocese from the Archdiocese of Manila on November 25, 1961. The Diocesan Cathedral of Our Lady of the Pillar or the Imus Cathedral, located along Gen. Castañeda St. in the poblacion of Imus, serves as the seat of the diocese. It is also one of the twelve cathedrals founded by the Order of Augustinian Recollects in the Philippines.

The Diocese includes 2,210,000 Catholics with five districts, 11 vicariates, 52 parishes, 8 quasi-parishes, 9 pastoral centers, one shrine (Our Lady of La Salette National Shrine in Silang, Cavite), and 95 diocesan and 89 religious clergies for a total of 184 priests in the diocese.

In 2011, the Diocese of Imus celebrated its Golden Jubilee as diocese since its establishment in 1961. Activities were held within the diocese to mark the momentous event. Part of the celebration was the 5th Asian Youth Day held in the diocese.

The patroness of the diocese is Nuestra Señora del Pilar, while the patroness of the Province of Cavite is Nuestra Señora dela Soledad de Porta Vaga.
