"Rock Me Amadeus" is a 1985 song by Austrian pop musician Falco from his album Falco 3. It topped the singles charts on both sides of the Atlantic. It was Falco's only number one hit in either the United States or the United Kingdom, despite his popularity in Germany, his native Austria, and much of Europe. The song was written by Falco and Dutch music producers Bolland & Bolland.

Famous quotes containing the words rock and/or amadeus:
“What a long strange trip its been.”

“It is a great mistake to suppose that clever, imaginative children ... should content themselves with the empty nonsense which is so often set before them under the name of Childrens Tales. They want something much better; and it is surprising how much they see and appreciate which escapes a good, honest, well- informed papa.”
—E.T.A.W. (Ernst Theodor Amadeus Wilhelm)
