Famous quotes containing the word family:

Fathers should be neither seen nor heard. That is the only proper basis for family life.
    Oscar Wilde (1854–1900)

Govern a small family as you would cook a small fish, very gently.
    —(20th century)

I duly acknowledge that I have gone through a long life, with fewer circumstances of affliction than are the lot of most men. Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826)
