Famous quotes containing the words early, life and/or education:
“Very early in our childrens lives we will be forced to realize that the perfect untroubled life wed like for them is just a fantasy. In daily living, tears and fights and doing things we dont want to do are all part of our human ways of developing into adults.”
—Fred Rogers (20th century)
“When its over I dont want to wonder
if I have made of my life something particular, and real.
I dont want to find myself sighing and frightened,
or full of argument.
I dont want to end up simply having visited this world.”
—Mary Oliver (b. 1935)
“There are words in that letter to his wife, respecting the education of his daughters, which deserve to be framed and hung over every mantelpiece in the land. Compare this earnest wisdom with that of Poor Richard.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
