Robert Gordon University - Campuses

Campuses

RGU currently operates two campuses in Aberdeen: in the city centre at Schoolhill, and in the south-western suburbs at Garthdee. Graduations take place in July and December, usually at the Music Hall on Union Street or His Majesty's Theatre on Rosemount Viaduct.

The library system operates a library at each campus. The largest is the Georgina Scott Sutherland library at Garthdee, located in the Business School building. A smaller library holding material on computing science, engineering, pharmacy and life sciences is located in the St. Andrew Street building in the city centre. The library system holds a wide range of books, textbooks, e-books and journals, but it is not as large or comprehensive as that of the University of Aberdeen. A large new library tower to replace both current RGU libraries is currently under construction at Garthdee as part of the new academic buildings there.
