Robert Arthur (November 1, 1909 – October 28, 1986) was a film screenwriter and producer.
Born Robert Arthur Feder in New York City, New York, he began as a screenwriter in 1937 with MGM and worked there for ten years. It was when he joined Universal Pictures that he became a line producer for such film series as Francis the Talking Mule and Abbott and Costello films.
Arthur died in 1986 and was interred in Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills Cemetery in Los Angeles.
Some websites confuse this Robert Arthur with mystery author Robert Arthur, Jr., who is nine days younger than producer Arthur.
