Robby Thompson

Robert Randall Thompson (born May 10, 1962) is an American professional baseball coach and former college and professional player. He played his entire career in Major League Baseball as the second baseman for the San Francisco Giants from 1986 to 1996. Thompson is the current bench coach for the Seattle Mariners. He was known as a team leader for the Giants during their resurgence in the late 1980s, who played the game with a gritty determination.
