Satara Road

This is the road connecting Swargate bus depot to the Katraj Ghat, a pass through the mountains. This road leads to the town of Satara in the southern part of Maharashtra. Six years ago, Pune's first multiplex, City Pride, was built here. Rajeev Gandhi Park, Bharati Vidyapeeth and Pune Vidhyarthi Griha's Engineering College come across to this road. The Rapid way of Public Transport was firstly started on this road as "Bus Rapid Transport (BRT)". This road is a part of Mumbai - Chennai national highway (NH-4) 'Mukund Nagar' is now turned to a small township consisting more of 'Jain' community people with high residential complexes come up by renowned builders from Pune. Single lane but more than thousands of families have come together to settle in rescent! Property prices have boomed due to scarcity of availability of flats in these new plush complexes.
